Elvia Procell Paddie

  Funeral services for Elvia Procell Paddie, 80, of Mansfield,
were held Saturday, Dec. 14, 1996, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church. Officiating was Father Larry Niehoff. Interment
was at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Noble, under the direction of
Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield.

  Mrs. Paddie died Wednesday, Dec. 11, at DeSoto Regional Health
System. She was born in Noble. She was a homemaker, a member of
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, and a former member, and officer of
the Altar Society.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Edna
Procell Ezernack; and two brothers, Steve Procell, and Dock
Procell.

  She is survived by her husband, Raymond Paddie of Mansfield; one
son, Gary Royce and wife Kimberly of Keatchie; one daughter, Mary
Joyce McMullins of Kingsport, Tenn.; two sisters, Vera Miller of
Keithville, and Verda Weldon of Shreveport; two brothers, Vernon
Santos of Shreveport, and Joseph Paddie of Noble; six
grandchildren; six great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews,
cousins; and a host of friends.

  Pallbearers were Charles Miller, Eric Miller, Terry Santos, Mark
Santos, Lynn Mena, and Ed Newsome.
