Ben Paddie

  Ben Paddie, 91, of Converse, died Monday night, Feb. 15, after a
lengthy illness, at the Converse Hospital.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 2 p.m., in the Converse
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker, and the Rev. H. M.
Koat officiating. Burial was in the Converse Cemetery.

  He is survived by his widow; six daughters, Mrs. Lucy Brown of
Converse, Mrs. Marie McDonald of Converse, Mrs. Eva Procell of
Converse, Miss Bobbie Paddie of Converse, Mrs. Marie Welborn of
Mansfield, and Mrs. Murray Graves of Dallas, Tex.; two sons, Alex
Paddie of Dallas, Tex., and Benjamin Paddie of Baton Rouge; and
29 grandchildren.
