Allen Julius Padgett, Sr.

  Funeral services for Allen Julius Padgett Sr., 76, were held at
2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Zwolle United Pentecostal Church.
Rev. Lamar Joy officiated. Interment followed in Zwolle Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Padgett died Wednesday, Dec. 11, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Doris Meshell Padgett of Zwolle; two
sons, Allen J. Padgett Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., and Robert
Padgett of Shreveport; three daughters, Arcelle Hippler of
Killeen, Tex., Aline Curry of Atlanta, Ga., and Helen Hutchinson
of Shreveport; one sister, Carolyn Mascunana of St. Petersburg,
Fla.; one brother, Jacob Padgett of Virginia Beach, Va.; twenty
one grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
