All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Sallie Hardee Pattison 27 Mar 1959 - Funeral services were held Saturday, March 21 at 3 p.m. for Mrs. Sallie Hardee Pattison, 78, of Martahville, widow of Dr. C. G. Pattison, in the Martahville Methodist church under the auspices of Drewett Funeral Home, Mansfield. Services were conducted by Rev. Huey McFarland, Marthaville Methodist church, with Rev. G. C. Berly, Marthaville, and Rev. John Koelmay, Many Methodist church assisting. Interment followed in the Fort Jesup cemetery. Mrs. Pattison, who was the daughter of James Marion and Mary Elizabeth Sirmon Hardee, early settlers of Sabine parish, died in at DeSoto General hospital, Mansfield, on Friday, March 20, after a brief illness. Death was attributed to a heart condition. Pallbearers were: T. W. Durr, E. E. Law, A. A. Settle, T. C. Pullen, Sam James, and G. C. Berly. Survivors are two sons, Charles E. Pattison, Mansfield; W. H. Pattison, Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs .Ernest Ivey, Many; two sisters, Mrs. I. E. Baker, Gueydan and Mrs. R. T. Sirmon, Markham, Texas; two brothers, H. G. Hardee, Sr., Gueydan and Sam Hardee, Beaumont, Texas; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
