Mr. Guffey Lafayette Pattison

  Mr. Guffey Lafayette Pattison, 84, of Pleasant Hill, died
Tuesday, March 16, at Sabine Medical Center, after a brief
illness.

  Mr. Pattison was a retired Sabine Parish school bus driver, and
farmer.

  Funeral services will be held at Progress Cumberland
Presbyterian Church, with interment following at Progress
Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. Jerry Lawson officiated, and
Rev. Ernie Harris assisted.

  Survivors include one son, Guffey Lynn Pattison and wife Carol
of Pleasant Hill; one daughter, Wyville Litton and husband Jack
of Shreveport; stepdaughter, Bernice Dale James and husband Phil
of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Rudolph Pattison of Sulphur;
one granddaughter, Jaclyn Wyville Litton of Shreveport; and one
step grandson, Clay Henry of Many.

  Pallbearers will be Clarence Gewin, Melton Free, Randall Brown,
Roy Bush Bridges, Sonny Hardee, and Lamar Ponder.

  The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to
Sabine Medical Center, and Dr. Pathak.
