Mrs. Jessie Loretta Petit

  Mrs. Jessie Loretta Petit, 82, of Many, died Sunday, July 9,
2000, at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport.

  Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, at
Lakeside Baptist Church, with interment to follow at Lakeside
Cemetery. The Rev. C. V. Chance will officiate.

  Survivors include three daughters, Maxine Waller of Many, Sue
Driver of Dove Creek, Colo., Freida Kay Winte of Yakama, and
Pamela Petit of Durango, Colo.; two brothers, James David Sanders
of Andrews, Texas, and B. J. Sanders of Blackwell, Texas; and a
host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Petit was preceded in death by
her husband, Robert L., Petit; three daughters, Ester Lauderback,
Katherine Louis, and Bobbie Ann Haley; and one son, Gary Wayne
Petit.
