Petit, 41, of Many, died Monday, Nov. 16, in Many. Mr. Petit was born in Seminole, Texas on April 18, 1957. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 20, at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many, with interment following at Lakeside Cemetery in Many. The Rev. Paul Ferrant, pastor of Chapel on the Lake, officiated. The Rev. C. V. Chance, pastor of Lakeside Baptist, and the Rev. Rick Martinez, pastor of Old Pisgah Baptist Church, assisted. Survivors include his widow, Patsy Petit of Many; his mother, Jessie Petit of Many; one daughter, Courtney Petit of Many; two sons, Anthony Petit, and Jared Petit, both of Many; four sisters, Maxine Waller of Many, Sue Driver of Dove Creek, Colo., Fredia K. Wentz of Yakima, Wash., and Pamela Petit of Durango, Colo.; and three brothers, Don Petit of Dolores, Colo., Dwight Petit of Rochester, N. Y., and Fred Petit of Pleasant View, Colo. Mr. Petit was preceded in death by father, Robert Petit; three sisters; and one son, Brandon Petit. Pallbearers were Tommy Miller, Dwight Petit, Fred Petit, Claud Rousseau, Dean Wooley, and Joel Wooley. Honorary pallbearers were Cliff Burr, John Miller, and Jimmy Speight.
