H. L. Patton Sr.

  Harris LeRoy Patton Sr., 71, of Shreveport, died Sunday, March
2, at his residence, after a brief illness.

  Services were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, in Drewett Funeral
Home of Mansfield, with Dr. John Sullivan, pastor of Broadmoor
Baptist Church, officiating. Burial followed in Oxford Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, Marguerite D. Patton; two sons,
Harris L. Patton Jr., and Thomas W. Patton, both of Shreveport; a
sister, Mamie Stahl Combs of Lebanon, Ind.; a brother, John A.
Patton Sr. of Zwolle; and two grandchildren.
