Mrs. Patton was born July 17, 1927, in Sabine Parish. She married Riley Patton on Dec. 1, 1943. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and a homemaker. Services were held Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m., at Friendship Baptist Church. The Rev. Ted Salley officiated. Interment followed at Friendship Cemetery in Many, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. Patton is survived by her husband, Riley M. Patton of Many; three sons, Jimmy and Pat Patton, and Paul and Phyllis Patton, all of Robeline, and Tommy and Velva Patton of Many; one daughter, Connie and Joe Starks of Many; two sisters, Annie Mae Dew, and Clovis Patton, both of Many; and three brothers, Homer Farrar of Bossier City, Leonard Farrar of Kilgore, Texas, and Wilbert Farrar of Many. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, Lanay Middleton of Robeline, Jimmie Lee Manshack of Robeline, Casey, and James Grizzle of Many, Kerrie, and Michael Mowad of Many, Tommy Lynn, and Shey Patton of Sallisaw, Okla., Marty, and Henrietta Starks of Many, Tim, and Teena Starks of Many, Jonathan Starks of Many, Stacey, and Joe Wilkerson of Many, Pam, and Greg Dillard of Robeline, Djuanna, and Kerry Singletary of Marthaville, Ginger, and John Patton of Ragley, Matthew Patton of Many, and Robert Blackwell of Lake Charles. Mrs. Patton is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, Melyssa, Mitch, and Maryna Middleton, Blake Manshack, Nathan Patton, and Summar Hinds, Emiley, and Erin Mowad, Brandon, and Courtney Starks, Jessica Anderson, Chelsea, and Tyler Starks, Lanie, and Casey Lites, Noah Wilkerson, Jeremy, Leah, Cade, and Caleb Dillard, and Tarin, and Dustin Singletary.
