Clarence Axtel Patton, Jr.

  Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Axtel Patton Jr., 82, were
held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 27, in the Many Church of the
Nazarene. Interment followed in the Friendship Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Ralph West
officiated the services.

  Mr. Patton died Thursday, April 25, at Heritage Manor Nursing
Home #1, in Many.

  He is survived by his daughter, Lela Knippers of Many; two
sisters, Freda Bezzy of Bloomington, Indiana, and Stella Berry of
Martinsville, Indiana; one grandson, Dale Knippers of Victoria,
Texas; two granddaughters, Gail McLendon of Lafayette, and Sherri
Savell of Houston, Texas; three great grandsons, Jacob McLendon
of Lafayette, and Eric Knippers, and Andy Knippers, both of
Victoria, Texas; and one great granddaughter, Erin McLendon of
Lafayette.
