Patton, Zwolle, who would have been 82 years of age on April 7, passed away at his home here last Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m. The Pattons moved to Zwolle a little more than four years ago from Oxford, where they had made their home for many years. He has been an invalid for the past four years. Funeral services were held in the Chapel of the Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, at 11 o'clock on Saturday morning, with burial in the Oxford Cemetery. Mr. Patton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mamie Patton; two sons, John A. Patton of Zwolle, and H. L. Patton of Cheneyville; one daughter, Mrs. Mamie Stahl of Sheridan, Indiana; two sisters, Miss Ruth Patton, and Mrs. E. B. Powell of Shreveport; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives. Out of town relatives who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Robinson, Ada, Oklahoma, Mrs. Mamie Stahl, Sheridan, Indiana, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Patton, Cheneyville, Harris Patton Jr., and Tommy Patton, Northwestern State College, Natchitoches, Miss Ruth Patton, Mrs. E. B. Powell, Mrs. Bert Whaley and daughter Ruth, all of Shreveport, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. White and son, Claude of Heflin, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patton and children, Wayne and Charlanne of Houston, Texas.
