Mrs. Girdia Lou Pittman

  Mrs. Girdia Lou Pittman, 80, of Shreveport, died Sunday,
September 7, at Garden Park Nursing Home in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, at
Antioch Baptist Church near Florien, with interment following at
Antioch Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Evans, and Rev. Edgar
Evans officiated.

  Survivors include one sister, Gertharie Miller of Shreveport;
one brother, Ivy D. Miller of Jena; four nieces, Shirley and
Clarence Chism, Gail and J. C. Downs, Peggy and Robert Stark, and
Glenda and Charles Chism; and two nephews, Billy, and Argerine
Miller, and Jerry D. Miller. Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death
by her daughter, Martha Jo Pittman of Lake Charles.

  Pallbearers were Ralph Jordan, Dale Phillips, Darrell Chism,
Gary Mayfield, R. T. Miller, and Reo Wright.
