The Rev. Robert Graham officiated. He died suddenly Tuesday, Nov. 16. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors are one son, A. C. Potter of Hornbeck; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Bell Brown of Beaumont, Tex.; two half brothers, Monroe McDaniel, and Buford McDaniel, both of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Ester West of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Carrie Jones of Winnsboro; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ray Masters, D. L. Arnold, Jack House, Buddy Self, Theodore Forbis, and Berry Hugh Goss.
