Bernhardt officiating. Burial was in Century Memorial Park. The rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 11, at the Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. She died at 3;30 a.m. Friday, Jan 9, at the Doctor's Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Peters, born in Noble, was a retired Nurses Aide and had lived in Shreveport 30 years. Survivors include four sons; Joe Peters, Alvin A. Peters, Jr., and Jimmy Vidale, all of Shreveport, Johnny Jones, Cabot, Ark., five daughters; Mrs O. F. Brooks, Mrs. Maynard Luppen, Mrs. Jesse Lee, and Miss Mary Etta Peters, all of Shreveport, Mrs Jessie Basco Haughton, one step-daughter, Mrs. Ernest Castee, one sister, Mrs. Nora Procell, both of Shreveport, one step-sister, Mrs Sam Rivers, Zwolle, 33 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons Jerry Procell, Joey Peters, Chris Basco, Alvin Peters, Jr., Mark Peters, Francis Sepulvado, Neyland Basco, Greg Sepulvado.
