Mary Martha Peters

  Services for Mary Martha Peters, 75 were held at 10 a.m. Monday and
12 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Father Charles J. Bernhardt
officiating.

  Burial was in Century Memorial Park.

  The rosary was held at 7 p.m. on Sunday Jan. 11, at the Rose-Neath
Marshall St. Chapel.

  She died at 3;30 a.m. Friday, Jan 9, at the Doctor's Hospital,
following a lengthy illness.

  Mrs. Peters, born in Noble, was a retired Nurses Aide and had lived
in Shreveport 30 years.

  Survivors include four sons; Joe Peters, Alvin A. Peters, Jr., and 
Jimmy Vidale, all of Shreveport, Johnny Jones, Cabot, Ark., five
daughters; Mrs O. F. Brooks, Mrs. Maynard Luppen, Mrs. Jesse Lee, and
Miss Mary Etta Peters, all of Shreveport, Mrs Jessie Basco Haughton,
one step-daughter, Mrs. Ernest Castee, one sister, Mrs. Nora Procell,
both of Shreveport, one step-sister, Mrs Sam Rivers, Zwolle, 33
grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were grandsons Jerry Procell, Joey Peters, Chris Basco,
Alvin Peters, Jr., Mark Peters, Francis Sepulvado, Neyland Basco, Greg
Sepulvado.
