The Sabine Index - Frierson H. Peterson

  23 Dec 1955 - Last rites for Frierson H. Peterson, 83, who
died at the home of his son in Bienville Friday, Dec. 16 was
conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 at Florien Baptist church
with Rev. A. D. Ashley officiating assisted by Rev. W. D. Peacock
of Jennings. Interment was in Florien cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Frierson Peterson of
Florien, sons, Amma of Princeton, Emmett of Washington D. C.,
Walter of Bienville, DeWitt of DeRidder, daughters, Mrs. Alice
Sandel, Mrs. Nora Masters, both of Florien, Mrs. Della Cook of
Dry Prong, Mrs. Mae ? of Orange, Mrs. Josie Stroud of Many, 36
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Tate Poole, Dewey Greer, William D.
White, Elton Smith, Lamar White.
