All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** The Sabine Index - Glen Wiley Patrick 13 Jul 1956 - Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 9 in the First Baptist church of Many for Glen Wiley Patrick, 49, pharmacist for more than 30 years, who died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the Fraser sanitarium. Mr. Patrick was a native of Many and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Patrick, who survive him. He formerly was a druggist in Elizabeth where he resided for 14 years. He was married Dec. 25, 1930. Mr. Patrick is survived by his widow, Mrs. Inez Patrick of Many; two sons, Robert A. Patrick of Shreveport and Emmons H. Patrick of Many; one daughter, Mrs. Glenna Ramsey of Spartenburg, S. C.; three brothers, Robert Patrick of Vinton, and Rollie and Evelyn Patrick, both of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Pass of Many and Mrs. Carroll Alford of Sarepta; and one granddaughter, Cheryl Lee Ramsey of Spartenburg. The Rev. W. H. Rose, pastor of the First Baptist church officiated. Burial was in the Many cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral home. Pallbearers were James Lynch and William H Lynch, both of Shreveport, and Johnny Varnado, Alton Horn, Floyd Nabours, Jr., and Lee Jordan.
