With Rev. Vernon Stevenson, Rev. Tim Patrick, and Rev. Jerry Schmucker officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant hill Cemetery, Arrangements were under direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield, La. He died Friday, Sept. 5, at his residence, after a sudden illness. Mr. Patrick was a tool pusher for Bailey Drilling Co. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Joyce D. Patrick, Pleasant Hill; four daughters, Mrs. Peggy Durr, Mansfield, La., Mrs. Nell Durr, Marthaville, La., Christy Patrick, and Mrs. Carol Niette, Pleasant Hill; one son, John Patrick, Pleasant Hill; two brothers, Hughes Patrick, and Roland Patrick; his mother, Mrs. Lou Patrick, all of Converse; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby Aldridge, Pat Jones, Hollis Harris, Truman Durr, Frank Sanders, Thomas Hardee, Hugh Hardee, David Jackson.
