  Funeral services for Mr. James David Peterson, Sr., of Zwolle,
were held Friday, August 31, 1984, at 4 p.m., at the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and burial was in Zwolle
Cemetery. Elder C. Glen Hardy, and Bishop J. Michael Slay
officiated. Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Peterson died Thursday, August 30, 1984, at Sabine Medical
Center, at 10:13 a.m. He was 72 years old.

  Survivors include his wife, Mary Self Peterson of Zwolle; two
sons, James David Peterson, Jr. of Alexandria, and Franklin F.
Peterson of Zwolle; one daughter, Anna Lites of Many; one
brother, K. C. Peterson of Zwolle; six grandchildren; and 4 great
grandchildren.
