Mr. Elwin Patterson

  Mr. Elwin Patterson died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1994, at 11:10 a.m.,
at Sabine Medical Center. He was involved in law enforcement for
24 years, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.

  Funeral services for Mr. Patterson, 53, were held Tuesday, Jan.
25, at 2 p.m., at Bayou Scie Methodist Church, with burial at
Bayou Scie Cemetery. Rev. Hugh Warren officiated.

  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Patterson of Zwolle;
daughter and son-in-law, Missie and Jason McMillian of Many;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ell Patterson of Zwolle; brother Clyde D.
Patterson of Shreveport; and nieces and nephews, Rebecca,
Preston, and Canaan Raines, Rachel, Rendee, and Rainey Russell,
Laurie, and Scottie Jones, and Libby Cox.
