Emmitt Peterson

  Emmitt Peterson, 86, of Many, died Friday, April 29, after a
lengthy illness.

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Peterson; one
daughter, Mrs. Effie Mae Ammons; one brother, Dave Peterson, all
of Many; 6 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3
great-great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 1, at Alford Height
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. A. J.
Dupree officiating. Interment was in Fenders Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
