Fisher Peters

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 30, for Fisher
Peters, 68, who died after a short illness, on Tuesday, Dec. 29.
The Rev. Irby McCuller, and the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiated at
the services, which were held in the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church,
with interment in the church cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were J. B. Veuleman, Hosea Ebarb, Willie Dew, Leland
Elliott, Harvie Maxie, and Joe Koss.

  Mr. Peters is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Peters of Many;
two sons, Fisher Peters Jr. of New Iberia, and W. F. Peters of
Shreveport; and three grandchildren.
