The Sabine Index - Cassie Paul

  30 May 1947 - Mrs. Cassie Paul, age 67, passed away at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Alvin Miller. Funeral rites were held at
Mt. Carmel Baptist church 4 p.m. Sunday by the pastor, Rev. M. L.
Delk, assisted by Rev. J. H. Ricks. Interment was under direction
Massingill funeral home.

  Surviving relatives are: daughters, Mrs. W. O. Miller, Port
Arthur, Texas; Mrs. Alvin Miller, Florien; five grandchildren;
brothers, G. W. and Jessie Byrd of Vowell's Mill; sisters, Mrs.
N. R. Rhodes, Provencal, Miss Emma Byrd, Vowell's Mill.
