Lila B. Paul

  Lila Burkett Paul, 79, of Converse, died Monday afternoon, Sept.
4, in a Mansfield hospital, after a sudden illness.

  Services were at 10 a.m., Wednesday, in the Drewett Memorial
Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Schmucker, and the Rev. Sidney Young
officiating. Burial was in the Paul Cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Thaxton Paul, and Ted Paul, both of
Converse, and four sisters, Mrs. Louella Hargis of Shreveport,
Mrs. Laura Hubier of Converse, Mrs. Etoile Mays of Mansfield, and
Mrs. Maybell Pickett of Bastrop.
