Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 7 at the Many chapel of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Mack Hayes, Jr., of Many and Elder Gilbert Connor of Winnfield officiating. Interment was in Mt. Carmel cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Rev. V. R. Miller, Preston Sibley, Vester Pilcher, Bill Bass, Dillon Muse, and King Hunt. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. John W. Paul of Hornbeck, three sons, Ottis Paul of Winnfield, John C and Harold H Paul of Lake Charles, three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Hunt of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Elsie Muse of Many, Mrs. Mary Holley of Hornbeck, two sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Sibley and Mrs. Emmie D. Nichols of Many, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
