Mrs. Odessa Powell (Photo)

  Mrs. Odessa Powell, 45, of Florien, died in Shreveport on April
15, 1987.

  Services were held at Union Baptist Church, on April 17, at 2
p.m., with the Rev. Jeff Flenniken, and Rev. Troy Henager
officiating. Burial was at Union Baptist Church Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  She is survived by her husband, Laness Stephen Powell of
Florien; mother, Lelia Powell of Robeline; four brothers, Bill
Powell of Marthaville, Aubrey Powell, and Melton Powell, both of
Robeline, and Jessie Powell of Natchitoches; one sister, Pearl
Richardson of Ft. Worth, Tex.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
