Mrs. Lelia Beatrice Powell

  Mrs. Lelia Beatrice Powell, 80, died at Schumpert Medical Center
in Shreveport, La., on May 3, 1989.

  Services were held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, on Friday, May
5, at 10 a.m. Burial was at Provencal Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include four sons, Bill Powell of Marthaville, Aubrey
Powell of Robeline, and Jesse and Melton Powell, both of
Natchitoches; one daughter, Pearl Richardson of Ft. Worth, Tex.;
one sister, Edith Cobb of Robeline; 19 grandchildren; 37 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
