Officiating will be Pastor Clovis Sturdivant. Burial was in Memory Lawn Cemetery in Natchitoches. Mrs. Powell died April 25, following a sudden illness. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Powell. Survivors include three daughters, Liz Lawley, Debbie Powell, both of Shreveport, and Bobbie Arseneaux of New Orleans; five sons, Ronald Powell of Houston, Texas, Johnny Powell, Charles Powell, and Paul Powell, all of Natchitoches, and Joseph Powell of Marthaville; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
