Hilda Ann Powell

  Funeral services for Hilda Ann Powell were held at 2:00 p.m.,
Friday, January 31, in the Union Baptist Church in Florien, with
the Rev. Rusty Silvertooth, and Rev. Troy Hannigan. Burial was in
the church cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home
of Leesville.

  Mrs. Powell, 44, of Florien, passed away January 29, 1992, at
her residence. She was born in Many, Louisiana, and was a
homemaker.

  She is survived by four sons, Keith Brown of Port Neches, David
Brown of West Monroe, Daniel Brown of Florien, Joseph Brown of
Florien; three brothers, Clarence Chism of Shreveport, Garland
Chism of Shreveport, Carl Chism of Ft. Worth; two sisters, Glenda
Dunn of Natchitoches, Marcia Thompson of Florien; four
grandchildren.

  Visitation was from 1:00 p.m. Thursday, until service time
Friday, in the church.
