Mrs. Grace Sandel Powell

  Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Sandel Powell, 83, will be held
today, Wednesday, June 21, 1995, at 3 p.m., at Prospect Methodist
Church.

  The Rev. John Koelemay, and the Rev. Earl Marr will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Mrs. Powell was born September 16, 1911, to Alice Cordelia
Prince, and Edwin Monroe Sandel in Florien.

  Survivors include her husband, Mr. James Vinson (Pete) (Osmer)
Powell of Florien; three sons, Calton Powell of Redwood Valley,
Calif., Monroe Powell, and Ezra Powell, both of Florien; one
daughter, Adell Sills of Many; one brother, Francis Alton Sandel
of Wichita, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons.
