Mrs. Mary Powell

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lillian Powell, 70, who passed
away in a Shreveport nursing home Monday, Nov. 11, were held
Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Interment
was in the Wallace Cemetery.

  Survivors are her husband; only son, E. A. Powell Jr. of
Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Dale of Robeline, and
Mrs. Mary Hughes of Leesville; one sister, Mrs. L. L. Dillard of
Pleasant Hill; five brothers, O. B., and Dewey Gregory of
Pleasant Hill, Hugh, and Robert Gregory of Shreveport, and Truitt
Gregory of Houston; and six grandchildren.
