Jerome K. Phelps Sr.

  Jerome K. Phelps Sr., 75, of Converse, died Tuesday, June 6.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 8, in
the Drewett Funeral Home in Mansfield, with the Rev. Jerry
Schmucker, and the Rev. Jimmy Liley officiating.

  Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Converse.

  Survivors include his wife; one son, Jerome K. Phelps Jr. of
Mamou; two daughters, Mrs. E. D. Gour of Castor, and Mrs. James
O. Smith of Mansfield; seven grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. J. A. Magee of Big
Springs, Tex., Mrs. Homer Dickerson of Hawthorne, Calif., and
Mrs. B. W. Clark of Downey, Calif.
