Services were held at 2 p.m., in the Prospect Methodist Church in Florien, Monday, with the Rev. Leslie Creel officiating. Rev. Creel was assisted by the Rev. Kenneth Baggs. Burial was in the Prospect Cemetery. Survivors are five sons, Nolen Phelps of Houston, Tex., Hobert Phelps of Pasadena, Tex., Bill Phelps of DeRidder, Sgt. Joe Phelps of Ft. Polk, and Eugene Phelps of Elm Grove; four daughters, Mrs. R. O. Huffman of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Coy Williams of Hornbeck, Mrs. Mary Thompson of Desoto, Tex., and Mrs. Donnie Webb of Keithville; two sisters, Mrs. Claude McComic, and Mrs. Ed Russell, both of Many; four brothers, Enoch Phelps of Pleasat Hill, John Phelps of Rodessa, Randall Phelps of Silsbee, Tex., and Jim Phelps of Fisher; 17 grandchldren; and five great grandchildren.
