Mrs. Stephania Phelps

  Services for Mrs. Stephania Phelps, 70, of Marthaville, were
held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, at the Rockett-Nettles
Funeral Home Chapel in Coushatta, La. Father Joe Hasieber
officiated. Burial was at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery.

  Mrs. Phelps died Sunday, January 26, 1986, in New Orleans.

  She is survived by two daughters, Jane Costley of Knoxville,
Pa., and Sondra Mora of New Orleans; one son, Edward Phelps of
Marthaville; three brothers, Edward Garka of Milwaukee, Wisc.,
Stanley Klemenick of Sacramento, Calif., and Benjamin Carney of
Milwaukee, Wisc.; and five grandchildren.
