William "Buddy" Phillips

  Services for William "Buddy" Phillips, were held at 3 p.m.,
Sunday, August 9, 1992, at the Crystal Springs Baptist Church in
Anacoco, with Rev. Bobby McCullough officiating. The burial
followed in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, under the direction
of the Beauregard-Vernon Funeral Home in Leesville.

  Mr. Phillips, 69, of Anacoco, died Saturday, August 8, 1992, at
3:11 a.m., at the Byrd Memorial Hospital in Leesville.

  Mr. Phillips was a native of Vernon Parish. He was an Army
veteran, and a retired construction worker.

  He is survived by one brother, Aubbie Lee Phillips of Hornbeck;
one sister, Ollie Marie Benefield of Anacoco; numerous nephews
and nieces.
