Mrs. Verna Sally Phelps

  At the age of 81, Mrs. Verna Sally Phelps passed away, at
Willis-Knighton in Shreveport, on Jan. 29, 1994.

  Mrs. Phelps was born Dec. 12, 1912, to Charles Walter and Bertha
Brasher of Marion, La.

  She is survived by three brothers, W. N. Brasher of West Monroe,
James Franklin Brasher, and Mac Boyce Brasher of Bastrop; three
nieces, Martha Sampson, Billie Sanders, and Dorothy Lea.

  Services were at the First Baptist Church of Zwolle, Jan. 31, at
10 a.m., with burial at Farmerville City Cemetery. Rev. Jerry
Penfield officiated.
