Interment was at the First Baptist Church Cemetery. Danny passed away Friday, Nov. 1, at Northeast Medical Center in Gainsville, Ga., following a short illness. Danny was a former resident of Zwolle, where he was raised, and later moved to Krotz Springs, when he was about 12 years old, with his mother, Patsy Remedies. He was a welder. He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Ray; grandmother, Trudy Parrie; and grandfather, John Remedies. He is survived by his stepfather, James Coulon; and mother, Patsy Remedies Coulon of Krotz Springs; a daughter, Patsy Danielle Phillips of Hoschton, Ga.; four brothers, Robert Ray of New Rhodes, John Ray of Baker, Wilma Ray Jr. of Dallas, Tex., and Kenneth Ray of San Diego, Calif.; a step brother, Robbie Coulon of Warrenton, Mo.; and two step sisters, Tammy Brouvillette of Houma, and Jackie Coulon of Krotz Springs; also two special aunts, Nancy Parrie, and Hazel Malmay, both of Zwolle; and a special uncle, Martin Garcie, also of Zwolle.
