William J. Phelps

  Funeral services for William Jasper Phelps, 70, prominent
Marthaville store owner, were Sunday, Jan. 24. Phelps died Friday
in a Natchitoches hospital, after a long illness.

  He came to Marthaville in 1949. He was a veteran of World War I.
