The Sabine Index - Reece L. Place

  28 Jul 1933 - Reece L. Place, 41, died at a Shreveport sanitarium at
3 p.m. Saturday and was interred in the Clyde cemetery by the Rev.
J. Cude Rousseaux, pastor of the Many-Zwolle Methodist churches, at
noon Monday.

  Place was head driller for R. L. Gay Trustee, had been in Col. Gay's
employ for the past 12 years, was one of the drillers on the discovery
well at Blue Lake.  Death was the result of an attack of Bright's
disease and other complications.

  Deceased is survived by his widow, who lives in Zwolle with their two
children, Ruby and R. L., Jr.
