L. E. Place

  L. E. Place, 75, of Marthaville, died Saturday afternoon, in the
Pleasant Hill Hospital, after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, in the Beulah
Methodist Church near Marthaville, with the Rev. Flody McCartney
officiating. Burial will be in the Beulah Cemetery, under the
direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow, one son, William H. Place of Lake
Charles, one grandchild, and two great grandchildren.
