Cora Williams Polke

  Cora Williams Polke, 85, of Hemphill, Tx., died Monday, Dec. 31,
at 3:30 p.m., in Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport,
following a long illness.

  Mrs. Polke was a native of Hornbeck, but had resided in Hemphill
for a number of years. She was a member of the First Baptist
Church of Hemphill, and a member of the Eastern Star.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan 2, at 2 p.m., in the
Star Funeral Home Chapel in Hemphill, with the Rev. Clarence
Howell officiating. Burial followed in the Hemphill Cemetery.
Eastern Star rites were held at the graveside.
