Pullig, 63, of Shreveport, were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, in Wellman's Funeral Home. Officiating was the Rev. Sammy Giddens, pastor of Marthaville Baptist Church, and the Rev. Clarence Berly, retired pastor of Marthaville Baptist Church, and the Rev. Clarence Berly, retired pastor of Marthaville Baptist Church. Burial was at Marthaville Cemetery. Mr. Pullig died Sunday, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. An Ashland native, he had lived in Shreveport 30 years. He was a plumber, a Baptist, a member of Plumbers, and Steamfitters Union Local 141, and a World War II Veteran. Survivors include a brother, Robert O. Pullig of Chestnut; a half-brother, Alonzo L. Hathorne of Natchitoches; and a sister, Lorena Ouzts of Chestnut. Pallbearers were Gene Guest, Herschel Shaver, Bill McCollough, E. Vercher, Jim Bush, and Donald Meacham.
