Medical Center, following an extended illness. He was 65. Funeral services were at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, May 25, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Raymond Kelly officiating. Interment was at Grove Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Glen Sandifer, Charles Clary, Aubrey Thrasher, Roy Masters, William Free, and Raleigh K. DePrang. Mr. Polk is survived by his widow, Mrs. Becky Polk of Shreveport; a daughter, Nita Gough of Olla; three sons, Wayne Polk of Little Rock, Ark., Kenneth Polk of Minden, and Earl Polk of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Sammy Polk of Shreveport; four sisters, Reba Herrington of Flora, Gloria Free of Shreveport, Ruby Hillier of Houston, Tex., and Dorothy Williams of Mansfield; and five grandchildren.
