Effie Mae Pleasant

  Funeral services for Effie Mae Pleasant, 77, were held at 2
p.m., Jan. 22, at Warren Baptist Church.

  Rev. Bud McCollough, Rev. H. H. Tibbitts, and Rev. Mike
Henderson officiated. Interment was in Warren Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Pleasant passed away on Jan. 19, 1995, at Heritage Manor #1
Nursing Home of Many.

  Survivors include four daughters, Millie Tanton of Tampa, Fla.,
Betty Knippers of Many, Dorothy Anderson of Florien, and Glenda
Beason of Statesboro, Ga.; one son, Jimmy Ray Pleasant of Many;
one sister, Dorothy Layfield of Hansville; two brothers, Haywood
Knippers of Hornbeck, and Arnold Knippers of Many; fourteen
grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
