Pilcher, 62, died Friday, June 4, 1999 in a Lake Charles hospital. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 7 in Johnson Funeral Home with interment following at Consolata Cemetery. The Rev. Brett Cooley officiated. Mr. Pilcher was a native of Florien he had lived in Lake Charles for the past 40 years. He was a routeman for Red Stick Linen Service for 18 years and a route salesman for cotton Brothers (Holsum) Bakery for eight years before his retirement. He also served in Louisiana National Guard for eight years. Survivors include his widow, Frankie Mae Cooley Pilcher of Lake Charles; two son, Danny Pilcher of Lake Charles and Kerry Pilcher of Westlake; one brother, Jack Pilcher of Florien; two sisters, Georgia Lee Heine of Baker and Peggy Dew of DeRidder; mother, Iva C. Pilcher of Many and four grandchildren.
