Pilcher, a well-known planter and pioneer citizen of Negreet, died Sunday p.m. from internal injuries after being thrown from a wagon Saturday. Funeral services were held Monday at the family home with Rev. J. M. Pate officiatnig. The Masons presided at the family cemetery where he was laid to rest. Mr. Pilcher is survived by wife and three children: John, Monda, and Joe Donald; by a former marriage he is survived by the following: Mrs. Henry Wedgeworth, Mrs. Van Wedgeworth, Mrs. Ernest Dew, Mrs. Hoyt Gandy, Mrs. Otis Gandy, Miss Thelma Pilcher, Lester Reese and Randal Pilcher.
