The Sabine Index - Mrs. J. V. Pilcher

  21 Mar 1947 - Mrs. J. V. Pilcher died at the home of her son,
Floyd Pilcher of Many route one at the age of 73 years.

  Funeral rites were conducted from Beulah Baptist church 4 p.m.
March 11 by Rev. Mrs. Day. (sic) Interment was under direction of
Massingill funeral home.

  Surviving relatives are : sons, F. E. and Vester Pilcher, Many;
daughters, Mrs. Olla Lampkins, Many, Mrs. Iva Ayres, Minden, Mrs.
Wilmer Davis, Lake Charles; sisters, Mrs. Vernie Barbin, Fort
Worth, Texas, Mrs. Pearl Myers, San Diego, Calif.; brothers, T.
H. Cochran, Many, John H. Cochran, Fort Worth, Texas, and 20
grandchildren.
