The Sabine Index - James Butler Pilcher

  17 Jun 1966 - James Butler Pilcher, 84, died Tuesday, June
14, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 15, in the Antioch
Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Chance officiating. Burial was
in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ada Pilcher of Florien; one
son, James Homer Pilcher of DeRidder; one brother Thomas H.
Pilcher of Zwolle; one sister, Mrs. Lula Cook of Florien; five
grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Tom Langton, O. McLendon, Gordon
Anthony, Bennie Salter, Bob Cook, and Sigmon Corley.
