The Sabine Index - James Homer Pilcher

  30 Jan 1969 - Funeral services for James Homer Pilcher, 60,
of DeRidder were held in the Toro Baptist Church, Monday, Jan.
20, with the Rev. Jerry Arthur officiating. Interment was in the
Toro Cemetery under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Pilcher passed away Friday, Jan. 17 in the VA Hospital in
Alexandria following an extended illness.

  He is survived by his widow, Iva Lee Pilcher of DeRidder; two
sons, Leamon Pilcher of Lake Charles and Jack Pilcher of Vietnam;
two daughters, Mrs. Norma Heine of Baker and Mrs. Kenneth R.
Hickman of DeRidder; his mother, Mrs. Ada Pilcher of DeRidder;
and two grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Gwin Corley, Lee Jordan, Johnny Corley, Dan
Kennedy, Jackie Corley and Sherman Salter.
