Carl Pilcher

  Mr. Carl Pilcher, 71, of Many, died at Pleasant Hill Hospital in
Pleasant Hill, on Thursday, Jan. 15, 1987.

  Services were held at Oak Hill Baptist Church, at 3 p.m., on
Saturday, Jan. 17, with Rev. Kenneth Leach Sr. officiating, and
Rev. E. E. Walker assisting. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Arlene Pilcher of Many; one son,
Carl Leroy Pilcher of Many; two daughters, Beverly Ann Scantlin
of Shreveport, and Glenda Faye McLendon of Haughton; one half
brother, Harold Buck of League City, Tex.; one sister, Lorraine
Germaine of St. Petersburg, Fl.; one half sister, Mary Telano of
Crew Lake; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Carol Salley, John McDonald, Lynn McLendon,
Doug Leone, Bill Leslie, and Harold Telano.
