Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 4, at Toro Baptist Church in the Plainview Community near Florien, with interment following at Toro Baptist Cemetery in the Plainview Community. The Rev. Raymond Alford, pastor of the Toro Baptist Church in the Plainview community near Florien, officiated, and the Rev. Jimmy Evans, pastor of Plainview Baptist Church, assisted. Survivors include one son, Dallas Jack Pilcher and wife Joan of Florien; two daughters, Georgia Lea Heine and husband Pete of Baker, and Peggy Dew and husband Talmadge of DeRidder; one daughter-in-law, Frankie Pilcher of Lake Charles; two sisters, Eva Chance of Florien, and Darlene Kennedy of Shreveport; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Pilcher was preceded in death by two sons, Donald H. Pilcher, and Lemon C. Pilcher; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Corley. Pallbearers were Steve Heine, Chuck Heine, Lea Heine, Danny Pilcher, Kerry Pilcher, and Randy Pilcher. Honorary pallbearers were Donald Pilcher Jr., Rodney Pilcher, Wade Hickman, Scooter Heine, Glen Overfield, and Dr. Jack Corley, M.D. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Many, La.
